realization
We started shooting pictures just like everyone else... Everywhere we went we saw beauty and art... what we quickly realized was that we wanted to start capturing this beauty on film.
To us the aesthetics of the world are amazing. By taking something simple like a train car or a building and manipulating the focus, colors and contrast we can bring out the beauty in stationary objects and architecture… everything slowly begins to develop a personality of it’s own.
The more we shoot, the more passionate we get. We strive to capture the raw emotion in places, people and things and we think it shows in our work. We continue every day to get that perfect shot and have amassed a huge collection of photographs that portrays this passion…
emotion
Capturing the emotion of the most important day of your life isn’t easy… It takes concentration and readiness… But when you do capture that emotion, it’s timeless.
Waiting for that perfect kiss, the first dance, cutting the cake… It all happens only once and we take every opportunity to make sure we get exactly what is needed so when you look back on that day, you remember exactly how you felt.
No detail can be overlooked. No kiss can be missed.
color
Color is one of those things that many people forget photographs never used to have. Once color is absent though it’s notably obvious. We don’t take color for granted.
Color can be an advantage as well as a huge disadvantage when it comes to artistic photography.
Stripping the color from a picture can instantly turn a modern everyday picture into something beautiful, timeless and classic.
Pictures that lack color can be very warm and the black and white contrast is stunning.
Adding just a touch of color to a flower or a painting in a colorless picture emphasizes the lack of color even more.
